SocialBox.biz are excited to announced that they received a letter from PwC congratulating them on the Technology Innovation of the Year Award nomination sponsored by PwC. The letter explains how they felt it was important to recognise the essential contribution businesses have made, and continue to make, to the UK economy and that this nomination would go towards this recognition.
The South East Partners and Directors PwC also invited SocialBox.biz to an evening event in June in central London for those shortlisted in the award competition.
SocialBox.Biz, a London-based technology social enterprise determined to use their expertise and knowledge for the betterment of both the homeless in accommodation services, older people living in isolation as well as unaccompanied refugee minors by collecting outdated laptops and re-homing them to those in need. In return, participating corporations and businesses witness incredible Corporate Social Responsibility increases.

Peter also recently attended the PwC regional awards networking event on June 8, 2017.
Senior Manager from PwC’s who sponsored the award wrote to Peter and commented that SocialBox.Biz’s nomination was was strongly liked by the nomination team, adding they were delighted that Socialbox representatives can make it their regional event.
In addition to Technology Innovation nomination PwC awards team announced that despite the start-up restrictions for their awards event, they have elected to nominate SocialBox.Biz for the award and will also be inviting Socialbox.biz to their their future awards including their Social Enterprise of the Year award.
These awards have been held every year since 2011 as a way to recognise the achievement with a vast number of creative businesses in the UK.
